Our Story

From restaurants and markets to collaborative development projects, Lush Life approaches every concept with the same commitment to quality, creativity, and enduring hospitality.

Lush Life Hospitality Group began with a vision: to create restaurants that combine serious culinary ambition with a deeply welcoming spirit.

In 2018, Claudia Taglich and Chef Jesse Schenker opened 2 Spring, transforming a historic building in Oyster Bay into a vibrant American brasserie. What began as a single restaurant quickly grew into a collection of distinct concepts—each shaped by the same commitment to hospitality, design, and ingredient-driven cooking.

The company has grown into a multifaceted hospitality group operating a diverse portfolio of concepts while also providing development, operational, and management expertise to hospitality projects and partners.

Today, the group includes refined tasting experiences, casual neighborhood restaurants, and culinary production spaces, all rooted on Long Island’s North Shore.

At Lush Life Hospitality Group, hospitality is not a service style- it is a way of thinking.

We believe great restaurants are built on three things: trust, generosity, and craftsmanship.

Trust in the ingredients we source, the people we hire, and the communities we serve.
Generosity in the way we welcome guests, share food, and create spaces that invite people to linger.
Craftsmanship in every detail—from the architecture of our dining rooms to the way a dish arrives at the table.

Our goal is simple:
To create restaurants that feel effortless to the guest but are built with extraordinary care behind the scenes.

Collaboration plays a central role in the continued growth of Lush Life Hospitality Group.

The company frequently partners with developers, investors, and creative collaborators to develop new hospitality concepts and projects.

In addition to operating its own restaurant, Life Lush provides strategic guidance across hospitality development - including concept creation, design oversight, construction coordination, financial planning, and operational leadership.

Among these collaborations is The Comet Club, a grand American dining room opening in Westbury in Spring 2026. Developed in partnership with Long Island developers Michael and Steven Dubb, the project represents one of the group’s most ambitious hospitality destinations to date.

These partnerships allow Lush Life to expand its hospitality philosophy across a variety of settings while bringing new and distinctive dining experiences to the region.

Remember, It’s Not Just About the Food - It Has to Be an Experience.

The Lush Life Standard

We believe in consistency.
We believe loyalty is earned through care.

And we believe great hospitality never goes out of style.
